BACKGROUND
In November 1998 our buying department was approached to be part of the forthcoming EU Private Sector Development Programme to Egypt. Buyers were sought for various processed foodstuffs.
Essential was chosen to specifically look at a number of organic ventures in place in Egypt to discuss market opportunities for them within the EU health food sector.
THE MISSION
An Essential buyer visited Egypt in the spring of 1999 and met with a number of organic farm owners and manufacturers.
The first fruits of these meetings have emerged with the launch of our new Bio-dynamic Herbal Tea Range.
