Background

Early in 2000 our buying department begun investigations to establish links with various organic farming co-operatives in Italy with the aim of developing some long term partnerships in organic production.

Co-operation

An Essential buyer visited Italy in June 2000 and met witha number of organic farming co-operatives.

From this we a pleased to launch a variety. of new organic products, including tinned tomatoes, passata and tomato puree.
